Here is my pink Marin mtbike named “Paris”, her full name is “Paris and Nicole”.  I have asked my biker friend’s 14 year-old son to design a pink/white bike and we brought it to Manila’s popular frame painter.  Had the frame and fork painted and I absolutely love it!

Took it trail riding immediately.  I was having a great time but as you can see the cow wasn’t event fazed with my bike’s color!

“Just picked up my fiancé’s bike from our LBS after having it ‘Pinked Out.’ She rides a 12 mile loop just about everyday in a nearby neighborhood here in Tallahassee, FL. And we ride together on the weekends on the St. Marks Trail (35 miles) and often the same loop she does during the week. I’m so glad I got her into cycling and she actually loves it (maybe not as obsessively as I do!) but she does really enjoy getting out on her bike a lot.

“I had a set of new Easton EA50 SL wheels put on, complete with the Schwalbe Stelvio pink tires that I got on a closeout sale from BikeTiresDirect.com (still selling for $37.95/ea as of 1/16/09)

“Also purchased the Jagwire pink cable kit from the LBS along with some black and pink Specialized bottle cages.

“The floral patterned pink bar tape was on sale at Performance for around $7.99.

“To top it off I picked up a pair of Tifosi Slip sunglasses in metallic pink to go with her Pearl Izumi pink jersey she got for xmas.

Unfortunatley, I ruptured my quad tendons playing volleyball back in October, so we haven’t been able to ride much together, but I plan on getting back out there soon!!”
