“I’m a 40 something mother of 2 who works full-time and still manages to ride around 200 km a week. I live in a beautiful beachside suburb of Melbourne (Victoria, Australia), and regularly cycle beach road, which is reported as being the most popular cycle training route in the world. I ride with a group of 40 something friends who enthusiastically embrace the café culture which is closely associated with riding. My pink bike came about because my husband bought a new frame and passed this one on to me. He had it painted to match my helmet, and I just love it. Where the paint is white, it has a violet pearl sheen through it. I have received many comments (mainly positive) and love the fact that noone else will have one like it. Although I love riding, there was something missing – glamour – this has gone some way towards addressing that flaw.”
